This 19.69 acres is nestled at the base of the foothills in the beautiful, picturesque and quiet sanctuary of Bacon Valley located just over the ridge from historic Goodrich, Idaho. The setting is simply beautiful. The area is wonderfully undiscovered and the views are both territorial and reaching. The West Mountains are in prominent view to the east.
The contrasting terrain and picturesque landscape surrounding Bacon Valley is trademark of West Central Idaho’s natural beauty. This is country with deep farm and ranch history; a one-room country school just over the ridge at Goodrich stands testimony to earlier days when there was a railroad stop and small farmsteads were prevalent along the river and its tributaries.
The terrain of Lot 38 is gently sloping meadow and native pasture interrupted by one early season spring run-off stream channel, benefiting the parcel aesthetically and providing early season water to the land. Improvements include perimeter wire fencing. At the entrance into the property, attractive pole fencing, a swinging metal gate and graveled driveway approach have been installed. A scattering of Ponderosa Pine trees planted in recent years are thriving evidence of the rich soils and climate well suited to growing gardens, yards, fruit and shade trees. There is pasture and room for keeping a few head of livestock. There are several excellent eligible sites for custom homes and outbuildings, each with sweeping views of mountains to the east and west. The four season climate could be considered ideal; year around living at its best.
