OVERVIEW:

Placed with clear intention on a gentle east slope overlooking the Weiser River, this wonderful custom home commands picture perfect views of the Weiser River, fields and meadows, cottonwood and aspen groves, canyon foothills and the scenic West Mountains. . .  Few places occupy such a uniquely interesting and diverse landscape and qualify as one-in-a-million.  This residence with an exceptional shop on 67.55 acres occupies a truly remarkable and picturesque setting at the confluence of year-round Johnson Creek and the Goodrich Reach of the Weiser River . . . an outstanding West Central Idaho property in a class of its own.

AREA OVERIEW:

Johnson Creek is just upriver from Goodrich in a peaceful, undiscovered area in the Hell’s Canyon Rim Country just the right distance off the beaten path, yet with convenient access to roads and highways to nearby towns and services.  This is big recreation country, rich with rivers, canyons, creeks, reservoirs and mountain lakes.   Access to the Weiser River for swimming, floating and fishing is just out the back door; access to the 84 mile long Weiser River Trail for hiking, mountain biking and horse-back riding is within a few minutes.   The Payette National Forest with over 2 million acres surrounds the area on three sides.  Cambridge is approximately 10 miles south and Council, the County Seat of Adams County is approximately 15 miles north. Both towns offer a diversity of shops and services, K-12 schools, eateries, public libraries and much more.  Boise is an approximate 2.5 hour drive primarily by state and interstate highways.  McCall, one of Idaho’s favorite mountain resort towns about 55 miles north, adds to the areas extraordinary summer/winter recreation opportunities.
