THE RIVER:           

The Weiser River is a habitat rich riparian corridor that flows along and through the Tisdale property for well over ½ mile.  Considered a respectable trout fishery, the Weiser is also known to be a great floating river in the late spring and early summer.  Myriad wildlife find sanctuary along the river providing priceless opportunities to observe and enjoy throughout every season: Mule deer, elk, white-tail, bear, a variety of water fowl, song birds, coyotes, fox to name only a few.

The confluence of Johnson Creek and the Weiser River is on the Tisdale property.  Johnson Creek is a deep drainage, year-round, tree lined mountain stream that is known to be a good trout fishery.


The Tisdale property borders State of Idaho Lands for a quarter mile along the northeast boundary.  State Lands, in turn, border BLM Lands and the Payette National Forest.  Excellent access into public lands! 


A portion of the 84 mile Weiser River Trail passes through the Tisdale property that lies on the east of the Weiser River.  This extraordinary non-motorized recreation trail was once a railroad grade and is now used occasionally by horse-back riders, hikers and bicyclers.  The trail through the Tisdale property guarantees convenient and enormous recreational access north and south along the Weiser River.  The converted rail road bridge is also an excellent river crossing to the Tisdale property that lies on the east side of the river.
